Helper – Housekeeping & Household Support
Millennium Group is looking for a reliable, disciplined and well-mannered Helper to provide day-to-day housekeeping and household support.
The role is focused on maintaining cleanliness, hygiene and order, assisting with routine daily tasks, and providing support with meal service and other household requirements.
The ideal candidate should take pride in maintaining a clean and well-organised environment, be attentive to instructions, and understand the importance of discretion, punctuality and respectful conduct.
Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping & Hygiene
- —Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across assigned household areas.
- —Carry out daily cleaning and housekeeping duties.
- —Dust, sweep, mop and clean floors and surfaces as required.
- —Clean and maintain assigned rooms, common areas and other household spaces.
- —Keep bathrooms and other areas clean and hygienic.
- —Ensure household items and spaces are kept organised and presentable.
- —Identify and report any maintenance, repair or cleanliness issues.
Daily Household Support
- —Assist with routine day-to-day household tasks.
- —Organise and arrange household items as required.
- —Assist with laundry, folding and basic clothing care where required.
- —Assist with groceries, supplies and other routine household requirements.
- —Handle household items carefully and responsibly.
- —Support other daily tasks as instructed.
Meal Service
- —Assist with serving meals and beverages.
- —Ensure dining areas are clean and properly arranged before and after meals.
- —Clear and clean dining areas after meals.
- —Assist with basic kitchen-related cleaning and support.
- —Maintain cleanliness and hygiene while handling food and serving meals.
General Responsibilities
- —Follow daily schedules and instructions provided by the household or supervisor.
- —Maintain punctuality and regular attendance.
- —Maintain a clean and presentable personal appearance.
- —Treat household property and belongings with care.
- —Maintain discretion and confidentiality regarding household matters.
- —Carry out additional reasonable household-support duties when required.
What We Are Looking For
- —0–5 years of relevant experience.
- —Previous experience in housekeeping, domestic support, hospitality or a similar role is preferred.
- —Good understanding of cleanliness and personal hygiene.
- —Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- —Physically capable of performing routine housekeeping duties.
- —Comfortable performing repetitive daily tasks.
- —Good personal grooming and presentation.
- —Respectful and well-mannered.
- —Able to follow instructions carefully.
- —Trustworthy and discreet.
- —Willingness to work as part of a household support team.
