Marketing Team Lead
Millennium Group is seeking an experienced Marketing Team Lead to lead the planning, execution and development of our marketing activities across the organisation and its brands.
This is a leadership position for a marketing professional who combines strategic thinking with strong execution. The successful candidate will be expected to lead people, build effective marketing plans, coordinate campaigns, manage external partners and ensure that marketing activity translates into measurable business outcomes.
We are looking for someone who understands that good marketing goes beyond visibility. It is about building brands, understanding customers, creating demand and ultimately contributing to business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy
- —Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with organisational and business objectives.
- —Translate business goals into clear marketing priorities and action plans.
- —Develop annual, quarterly and campaign-specific marketing plans.
- —Identify opportunities to strengthen brand positioning and market presence.
- —Monitor market trends, customer behaviour and competitor activity.
Team Leadership
- —Lead, mentor and develop the marketing team.
- —Establish clear responsibilities, priorities and performance expectations.
- —Review team output and ensure timely execution of planned activities.
- —Encourage a culture of accountability, creativity and continuous improvement.
- —Coordinate effectively with sales, operations, creative and other internal teams.
Campaign Management
- —Plan and manage integrated marketing campaigns across relevant channels.
- —Oversee campaign execution from concept through completion.
- —Coordinate with creative agencies, freelancers, media partners and other external vendors.
- —Ensure consistency in brand communication across platforms.
- —Review campaign performance and recommend improvements.
Digital & Social Media
- —Oversee digital marketing and social media activities.
- —Develop content and communication strategies appropriate to each brand and audience.
- —Monitor digital performance and engagement.
- —Work with internal and external teams to improve online visibility and audience engagement.
- —Stay informed about changing digital platforms, formats and marketing practices.
Brand Management
- —Help develop and maintain strong brand identities.
- —Ensure that marketing communication remains consistent with brand positioning.
- —Support product launches, promotional initiatives, events and other brand-building activities.
- —Ensure that creative output meets expected quality standards.
Performance & Analytics
- —Establish meaningful marketing KPIs.
- —Track campaign performance, lead generation, engagement and other relevant metrics.
- —Analyse results and identify what is working and what needs improvement.
- —Present marketing performance and recommendations to management.
- —Ensure that marketing budgets are used effectively.
What We Are Looking For
- —10–15 years of relevant marketing experience.
- —Proven experience managing a marketing team or leading significant marketing functions.
- —Strong understanding of brand, digital and integrated marketing.
- —Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- —Strong project management and organisational abilities.
- —Commercial understanding and a results-oriented approach.
- —Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously.
- —Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- —Experience working with agencies and external marketing partners is preferred.
- —A good balance of creativity, strategic thinking and execution discipline.
